My research interests lie in the characterisation of metal oxide and perovskites nanoparticles using a variety of experimental techniques to investigate the relationship between structural and UV properties of nanoparticles and the behaviours at interfaces and surfaces. These types of materials find applications in a wide variety of fields including renewable energy. I have years of firsthand work experience in semiconductors, particularly energy, sensors and developing new methods of semiconductor characterization as well as in electronics instrumentation particularly for low-cost instrumentation for developing countries. Also, I have developed methods to implement low-cost solar cells using lead perovskite synthesized from the abundant depleted lead accumulators. |
