Prof Vincent O. Nyamori is a Professor and Academic Leader in the School of Chemistry and Physics. The Chair of the UKZN Nanotechnology Platform and the former President of the South African Chemical Institute (SACI). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and an active member of the American Chemical Society (ACS). He is widely published and has a good citation record. He is a recipient of the UKZN Vice-Chancellor’s Research Award and also UKZN Top 30 Research awardee. Also, he has been the Chair of key national and international conferences, and an Invited Speaker at a number of them. He was a Visiting Researcher at Portland State University, Oregon, USA.
